Adaptive Balance Point - For stronger players who like a stiff tip and maximum control, we've maintained the standard balance point of the original Diamana +PLUS™ Series.
M.D.I. (Multi-Dimensional Interlay) - The M.D.I. process now encompasses the full length of the shaft, and not just the tip section as in previous models. Ultra-thin carbon fiber is layered in incredibly precise patterns and locations along the shaft, giving pinpoint control over stiffness and stability. This also maximizes resilience when storing and releasing energy. Because the new M.D.I. allows the use of thinner materials, the overall shaft weight can be reduced by 3-4 grams without sacrificing torque.
TOUGH-QURE™ Resin System - The Tough-Qure™ Resin System, developed internally at Mitsubishi Rayon, features extra polymers that are added in the curing process. These polymers fill in tiny gaps in the prepreg, resulting in better feel and feedback. Tough-Qure™ also helps the material "cure" faster, producing a stiffer feel that's beneficial in the tip section.
Progressive Torque - A Progressive Torque system optimizes performance by targeting shaft torque and frequency, with one addition: The new TX flex features 46T carbon fiber, providing our stiffest, lowest-torque flex in the series for better players.
